They all feature the Rutland Vermont Halloween Parade— one of the oldest still running parades to celebrate the spooky holiday! Comic book fan Tom Fagan started it in 1959 dressing in his Batman suit— and by the 1970s Comic Book Creators started to notice and even attend the parade, and it was only a matter of time before the parade become the background setting for various comic book stories.
